| Abstract |
|
"As maritime disasters caused by storm surge, large swell wave, coastal erosion damage etc. recently have increased, in other to resolve this problems many engineering and technical measures are being studied. However, to respond to the increasing maritime disasters proactively and to restore the damages effectively, the engineering and technical measures as well as the systematic hegislation are needed. So, the aim of this study was to investigate the problems in the current legislation system related to maritime disaster on jurisdiction of government departments and to propose the countermeasures against maritime disasters accordingly. Therefore, this study defines the maritime disasters and its coverage(risk factors), proposed establishment of countermeasures against maritime disasters act, control tower, countermeasures projects on jurisdiction of government department especially the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries." |
